I was and yet do you find it weird that sometimes it takes a great shock for you to take action.
Because the thing is, I was happy, successful and living life with my loving family, great friends and fulfilled clients.
The only thing was it was killing me, I just didn’t realise it.
So what would get me first? Diabetes, Stress or Heart Disease? I had all the markers and the doctor was always hinting that I should do something about it. Though let us face it, do we really have the time, let alone the fact that we don’t always do what we should.
Yet for me, my lucky escape came in the form of a series of events on a family holiday. Being denied from taking my children on rollercoasters because I couldn’t fit in the seat. A photograph where I realised I had moobs. And the realisation that I was excited to squeeze into size 48 shorts when I had a 56″ waist.
Will you leave your awakening to luck or create the shock now that puts you into action?
